PAVEMENT SMOOTHNESS STRATEGIES

Research Objective:

  1. Determine current status of pavement condition in Texas.

  2. Develop strategies for improving pavement smoothness conditions in Texas.

  3. Develop and implement a technology deployment plan based upon recommended smoothness improvement strategies

List of Tasks:

The following is a list of all main tasks and sub-tasks of the project.

Task 1: Collect pavement roughness data from Texas.

Task 2: Analyze pavement roughness data from Texas.

Task 3: Develop strategies for improving pavement smoothness.

Task 4: Develop a technology deployment plan. 

Task 5: Implement the technology deployment plan.
